Dr. Christo has been a practicing dentist for 9 years, and works out of our Dental365 Croton-on-Hudson as well as our B&D Dental Excellence, West Nyack, NY locations.
Tell us about yourself
I graduated with my doctorate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in southern California. I then completed my residency at Montefiore Medical Center and have been working in private practice ever since. I have a passion for cosmetic dentistry and continue to increase my learning through various continuing education courses in a wide variety of fields. In my spare time, I like to play sports and perform music.
What do you enjoy most about being a dentist?
Being able to make a living doing something you genuinely love and find deep satisfaction in is awesome. I enjoy the problem solving part of dentistry the most. I take pride in being able to help people achieve the smile of their dreams.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I'm an avid table tennis player and I also play and perform music. Those are my two favorite hobbies outside of dentistry.
What motivated you to become a dentist?
I knew that I wanted to do something in the medical field, and I knew that I enjoyed working with my hands. I also love meeting new people and forming relationships. Dentistry offered me the ability to combine all of these things into one profession and I haven't looked back since.
What is a fun fact
about yourself?
My wife and I got married in Lisbon, Portugal. It's beautiful there, but not as beautiful as her!

It reminds me that, as a healthcare provider, my job is service first. Helping those who are in need is my truest calling and, for me, Jesus embodied that the most.
