Dr. Berry practices out of our Art of Dentistry office, located in Somerset, NJ. He has been a general dentist for over 25 years.
Tell us about yourself
I believe that every smile is a gift—and helping people smile with confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I’m passionate about blending the art and science of dentistry to create healthy, beautiful results that go beyond the surface. Since graduating from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, I’ve pursued advanced training across many areas, including cosmetic dentistry, implants, TMJ disorders, and sleep apnea.
Much of my practice is rooted in holistic care, with a focus on total-body wellness and the safe removal of heavy metals. I love getting to know my patients, sharing a little humor, and helping them feel hopeful about their health. When I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me traveling with my family, biking, reading, or writing short stories.
What do you enjoy most about being a dentist?
I love building real connections with my patients and helping them feel heard. It’s especially rewarding to treat those with TMJ/TMD who haven’t found relief elsewhere; seeing their progress and comfort return makes it all worthwhile.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m a voracious reader—I'll read anything from novels to dishwasher manuals. I also love spending time outdoors hiking and exploring new places whenever I get the chance to travel.
What motivated you to become a dentist?
My passion for dentistry began with a personal story—watching my mother struggle with a facial deformity and TMJ. She spent years searching for relief, and seeing her pain inspired me to help others facing similar challenges. That experience continues to drive my commitment to providing compassionate, effective care.

I love being part of a collaborative medical team in my community, working together to help patients suffering from sleep apnea and idiopathic headaches. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone’s quality of life improve—and knowing I’ve played a role in helping hundreds of patients find lasting relief alongside my medical colleagues. Additionally, I have focused my practice on TMJ/headache/facial pain and Sleep Apnea treatment and am proud to say that I am one of under 50 dentists in the state that has earned this particular board certification.
